10 First Way You can find the slope in Three Ways that we learned. 1st way: Rise/run Count the rise Yes, it is 2 Count the run Yes, it is -8 We have 2/-8 when reduced it is - 1/4

11 Second Way: Lattice Point We see that the line crosses at (4,-2) and (-6,-2). Remember: We can use the lattice points when the line does not cross the origin.

12 Third Way: Triangle Use the two lattice points you have. Connect them by forming a triangle.
