Vocabulary Words Landform- Examples; mountains and hills.
An area of the Earth’s surface with a definite shape. Examples; mountains and hills.

Vocabulary Words Mountain- a landform that rises more than 2,000 feet above sea level and is wide at the bottom and narrow at the peak.

Vocabulary Words Hill- a landform that rises above the surrounding land and has a rounded top. A hill is lower and usually less steep than a mountain.

Vocabulary Words Plateau - a large, mostly flat area that rises above the surrounding land; at least one side has a steep slope.
