2.  As-Sammaniya Sufi order playing a very broad role. Within that broad role it has different activities cover all aspects of life religion, education, health and social relations.

3.  British council aims at assembling religious leaders from Islam, Christianity and others so as to lead and participate in reserving the earth because they can make a success by mobilizing local communities.

4. Focus Areas:  Importance of climate change impacts.  How to respond to climate change impacts.

5. Activities: 1- Lecture title Islam & Environment 2- Afforestion project I 3-Abuja conference 4- Afforestion project II

6. ﴾ Mischief has appeared on land and sea because of (the meed) that the hands of men have earned, that ((Allah)) may give them a taste of some of their deeds: in order that they may turn back (from Evil). ﴿ The Romans Sura, verse 41  Number of officials and nongovernmental organizations participated,  The lecture broadcasted in T.V and radio

10.  This project Targeted some schools in Omdurman city, the pupils were planted more than 500 trees during this day.

12.  The conference organized by the British Council targeting religious leaders in Africa stressing their role in preserving the environment.

14. The conference recommended :  Planting trees around mosques, churches and temples and sensitizing the community towards preserving the environment.  Reduction in using electric power.

15.  Raising communities awareness on the importance of conserving the environment and support them in future projects.  encouraging the cooperation between civil society organizations that work in the field.  Signing Abuja declaration.

16. We celebrated the World Environment Day and with the help of the British Council hundreds of seedlings planted and distributed during the day.

17. Establish a nursery in our mosque as a unique practice in the country so we can distribute seedlings for free.

19.  Limited financial resources.  Water shortage in some areas.  The seedlings protection from animals specially goats.  Access to mass media.  Strong networking and collaboration between different stakeholders.
