1 Acceptance of MICROMASTER parameter data in STARTER version V4.1.x
The following pages will show you how MICROMASTER 4 units can accept drive parameter data from the DriveMonitor (in .dnl format) in the STARTER version V4.1.x. Proceed as follows: © Siemens AG, Subject to change without prior notice

2 Step 1: Creating a MICROMASTER 4 unit in STARTER For example, you have entered a MICROMASTER 420 V1.1 and saved the settings with DriveMonitor in the .dnl format. NOTICE! The firmware version of the unit created in STARTER must correspond to the version of the unit configured in the DriveMonitor! Step 2: Create a script file for this drive. NOTICE! In STARTER V4.1.x, the script file must be inserted on level 2 of the project tree (see figure)!

3 Step 3: Import script ExecuteDNL.txt in STARTER version V4.1.x 2. 3. 1. 4.

4 Step 4: Execute the script.

5 Step 5: Select the MICROMASTER .dnl file. Select the .dnl file

6 Step 6: The script has been executed, and the values of the P parameters were accepted by the .dnl file in the STARTER drive of the project. Then click on Save. Note: The settings archived in the Read Only parameters (r parameter) are generally entered in the STARTER project only after the first online connection.
