2. We will drive to the Curious Kids’ Museum

3. We will park next to the Curious Kids’ Museum in the parking lot

4. I will walk with my family to the front door

5. A staff member will be waiting at the front desk for me

6. I may have to wait in the waiting room for a minute or two

7. Someone from the F.U.N. Lab will greet me and lead me down the hallway to the basement of the Curious Kids’ Museum

8. I will sit with my family and learn about the research study

9. I will get a checklist of all the things I will do

10. Next I will go into the room with a staff member and we will start. Many people have fun, and I will have fun too!

11. Some activities are like doing puzzles, and others are like word games. Sometimes I will tell stories, or listen to stories and answer questions

12. I will have my checklist with me so I can see how much I have left to do. I can always ask to take a break. I can say “May we take a break?”

13. If I am hungry I may have a snack during my break

14. I can also use the restroom during my break.

15. I will try to do my best on all of the activities. It is important to do my best so Dr. Diehl and the F.U.N. Lab can complete their science project

16. If I finish all of the activities and try my best, I will receive a $15 gift card to target at the end of the visit

17. My trip to the Curious Kids’ Museum will be over, and I can go home.
