2. Installation Go to http://www.omnetpp.org/omnetpp And download “OMNeT++ 4.0 win32 (source + IDE + MinGW, zip)”OMNeT++ 4.0 win32 (source + IDE + MinGW, zip) Unzip the zipped download “omnetpp-4.0-src-windows.zip”

3. Installation Double click this file in the unzipped directory- “mingwenv.cmd” Then type the following code –./configure make

4. Omnet++ IDE To get the Omnet++ IDE you need to type “omnetpp” after clicking on “mingwenv.cmd” Open new project and start your work.

5. Getting Started Open the Omnet++ IDE and go to Help  Help Contents  Omnet++ Development User Guide  Getting Started  Tic-toc Tutorial This is a very good tutorial for basic Omnet++ usage.
