China: Communism Invades
Before the end of World War II the Chinese nationalist government had began to start failing and the communist party began to go on the rise. Americans had recognized that this government was going to be corrupt because the policies of the government did not favor national support. The communists lead by Mao Zedong began to gain more followers throughout the country through the promise of an increase in food production and increased education. This dispute eventually leads to a chinese civil war to decide their type of government.
