There will be a test on them on Friday.

2. Biography- a person’s life story The biography of President Abraham Lincoln The Biography magazine Every life has a story.

3. Facts- things that are true We study math facts in school. This is an advertisement that shares facts about allergies.

4. Events- things that happen Sometimes takes a lot of work, planning, and organizing to implement, or carry out, an event. A field trip to explore nature is always a great event.

5. Sequence- one thing following after another The photo sequence of a girl in Sri Lanka catching a ball. A golfer follows a practiced sequence when slicing the golf ball.

6. Research- careful study of a subject High School students learning how to do research on a farm. Part of good research is to take notes of each step in the process.

7. Research and field study can be very fulfilling and rewarding Researchers sorting rocks and precious gems. These field researchers are discovering the way of human life in the past. They are archeologists.

8. There are two types of research: primary and secondary. Studying in the New York Library is part of secondary research processes where you look for facts, important events, patterns or sequences, and the studies of other people, in ways such as getting familiar with a persons biography.
