PRIORITY PROJECTS 2014 – 2020 г.(1) Railway Infrastructure Project: Rehabilitation and modernization of the railway line Plovdiv - Burgas Phase 2, incl. Plovdiv and Burgas railway junctions (for speed of 130 km), with a length of 100 km Indicative budget: 320 million euro Project: Modernization of Stara Zagora, Nova Zagora, Yambol and Karnobat railway stations Project: Modernization of the railway line Elin Pelin - Ihtiman - Septemvri (for speed of 160 km), with total length of 78 km Indicative budget: 740 million euro Railway projects are complemented with investments under CEF (Sofia - Elin Pelin; part of the railway junction Sofia; Sofia – Dragoman; Vidin - Medkovets) Intermodality for passengers and freight and sustainable urban transport Project: Construction of Line 3 of the Sofia metro: Stage I (section 2) "Botevgradsko Road (Vladimir Vazov blvd.) - Center – “Ovcha Kupel “ (str. PRIORITY PROJECTS 2014 – 2020 г.(2) Road infrastructure Project: Construction of the "Struma" MW, Lot 3 Construction of motorway section with an apprx. length of 62 km (Lot 3.1 from Blagoevgrad to Krupnik; Lot 3.2 from Krupnik to Kresna; Lot 3.3 from Kresna to Sandanski) Indicative value: 750 million euro Project: Construction of the "Hemus" MW Stage 1 – from "Hemus" MW (Yablanica) to road II-35 (Pleven-Lovech) - 60 km; Stage 2 - from road II-35 to road E85 (Ruse – Veliko Tarnovo) - 85 km Indicative value (Stage 1 and Stage 2): 445 million euro Project: Construction of a tunnel under the "Shipka“ Peak (Phase 2 of the project “Gabrovo bypass“) II Meeting of OP “Transport and transport infrastructure” 2014-2020 Monitoring Committee

Implementation of preliminary conditions for the Transport Plan Development of Integrated Transport Strategy (ITS) ITS is a basis for planning transport projects earmarked for funding from: ERDF and CF; The Connecting Europe; State budget; other international financing institutions, public-private partnerships, private finance initiatives, etc. In developing the ITS will be used: Road Strategy developed by the World Bank Draft Strategy for development of railway transport in Bulgaria Create an Unit to support the work of the Consultant - specialists in modeling and modal transport NSI will assist MTITC in collecting the necessary information.
