3. www.southwark.gov.uk Reception Baselines If you opted for a reception baseline this year, the DfE will notify you later in June/early July if your chosen supplier did not get commitment from 10% of schools and is not viable Reception baseline sits within broader assessment of children’s development and EYFS and ELGs remain statutory although EYFS Profile becomes non- statutory after June 2016. Progress from Reception baseline to KS2 will be calculated using averages and will be compared with others nationally with same starting point.
