2 MANDATORY ACTIVITIES  Set at least 15 goals in Rotary Club Central  Pay July semi-annual dues to RI on time. Note: Verify your payment options on your club’s invoice and by contacting RI financial representative. RI PRESIDENTIAL CITATION 2015-16

3 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 Club Service Strengthening Clubs 1.Encourage Clubs to qualify for the RI Presidential Citation. 2.Encourage Clubs to participate in District meets and seminars. 3.Implement Strategic Plan at the District level and ensure that at least 50% clubs in the District implement it. 4.Target at least 20 Clubs to implement the Club Leadership plan. 5.Encourage clubs to use Social Media for sharing Rotary Information and also encourage clubs to communiate with members electronically. 6.Encourage Clubs to publish a monthly newsletter in print or e copy. 7. Target 100 % Clubs to use Rotary Central

4 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 Club Service Membership 1.Ensure that 80 % clubs achieve minimum 90% membership retention. 2.Target a net increase of 20% membership in the district including at least 100 women members, 5 Rotary Alumni and 15 Rotractors. 3.New Clubs to be formed for the newer generation and new diverse groups and unrepresented areas. 4.Merge weak and non functional clubs. Leadership 1.Organise Club Leadership Seminars, focusing on developing leadership at district as well as club level. 2.Encourage clubs to develop leadership by ensuring every member is given a position in the club board or comittee, sub – comittee or project initiative.

5 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 Community Service 1.Encourage clubs to undertake service projects related to Rotary’s six areas of focus: Peace and conflict prevention/ resolution. Disease prevention and treatment Water and Sanitation Maternal and child health Basic education and literacy Economic and community development 2.Aim to create awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage clubs to hold at least 3 blood donation camps with a minimum total collection target of 25000 units of blood in the district.

6 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 Community Service 3.Aim to create awareness about environmental protection by encouraging clubs to undertake tree plantation, solid waste management, power saving LED bulbs and solar power projects. 4.Encourage to support the Cancer Foundation by becoming members of the foundation and by adopting Cancer patients and by holding Cancer Awareness camps. To start thinking and conceive a new Cancer Hospital in NCR/ Cancer Diagnostic Centre in NCR. 5.Promote the District initiatives of “ Body and Organ Donation “ and Club Foot Project 6.To create awareness about Diabetes and Blood Pressure and promote Rotary Diabetes Centre.

7 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 Community Service 7.Participate in the District “ Paper Waste management & Recycling Project”. 8.Promote the districts “ Women empowerment & Right to Education “ initiative. 9.Promote “The Rain Water Harvesting” initiative. 10.Promote RI adopted program WINS ( WASH in Schools) and provide clean drinking water,sanitation,hygiene and cleanliness in schools. To build 100 toilet blocks in schools particularly for girls. 11.Promote RI initiative of RILM ( Rotary India Literacy Mission) to achieve 100% Literacy by 2017 in India. To promote TEACH program of RILM in the District. Every Club should adopt at least one municipal primary school under TEACH program and undertake career guidance specially for girl students.

8 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 Community Service 12.Motivate clubs to launch Tuberculosis and Thalassemia awareness campaigns. 13.Adopt the Gift of Life initiative as a district project and encourage clubs to support it. 14.Promote basic computor learning and computor skill development for underprevileged youth. Ensure that at least 75 secondary schools are covered under the District 21 st Century Skill Program in association with Microsoft and NIIT – Yuva Jyoti.

9 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 Vocational Service 1.Encourage all Rotarians to display a Decleration of Rotarians and the Four Way Test at their work place. 2.Every Club should display at least 5 For Way Test billboards at schools, institutions, community and public area. 3.Encourage clubs to organise at least one career couselling/ vocational training program for school and college students/ semi skilled workers. 4.Motivate Clubs to organise functions to honour vocational acheivers in their community and motivate others to become vocational acheivers. 5.Encourage clubs to adopt the Rotary- Singer India Ltd initiative to empower our girls/ women.

10 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 International Service 1.Aim to host at least 5 international Friendship Exchanges at the District level. 2.To promote Youth International exchanges of Rotaractors and Interactors. 3.Encourage clubs tosponsor and host Friendship Exchange Team members and invite them to Club meetings and/or visit club projects. 4.Ensure that at lease 5 clubs sponsor a Rotary Peace Fellow; 100 Peace Fellowships are offered annually on a World Competetive basis. 5.Promote 2015-16 RI Convention at Seoul, South Korea. 6.To promote international cooperation and organise an Intercity on Peace and Conflict Resolution.

11 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 New Generations 1.Encourage all clubs to sponsor youth fro DILA and RYLA 2.To make existing Rotract clubs functional and sponsor at least 5 Rotract and 10 Interact Clubs. 3.Undertake at least 2 International Youth Exchange Programs. 4.Encourage clubs to sponsor and or/host Youth Exchange Exchange Students. 5.Encourage Rotractors and Interactors to attend the multi- district RYLA.

12 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 The Rotary Foundation 1.Encourage that every Club supports EREY program of TRF with 100 % members contributing to TRF. 2.Raise at least USD 600,000/- under Annual Program Fund. 3.Raise at least USD 100,000/- under the Permanent Fund. 4.Raise at least USD 50,000/- towards Polio Plus Fund. 5.Raise at least USD 200,000/- towards Major Term Gifts for District Literacy Program. 6.Ensure that every Club contributes at least one member to the Paul harris Society

13 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 The Rotary Foundation 7. Encourage clubs to participate in Global Grants projects by planning abd carrying out sustainable educational and humanitarian projects. 8.To foster world understanding, goodwil and Peace by promoting and publicising the Rotary Peace Centre program. 9.Support Club service Projects through District Grant Projects. 10.To organise fund raising events during the year. 11.Clubs to attend Grants Seminar to be eligible for Global Grants. 12.To dedicate one club meeting for a talk on TRF by inviting DRFC/a senior PDG.

14 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 Public Image 1.Organise District / Zonal Seminars on the importance of Rotary’s Public Image 2.Encourage clubs to undertake at least one public image campaign in the community through print publication, local cable network, radio, billboard or pamphlets. 3.Encourage every Rotarian to wear the Rotary Pin religiously and to affix the Rotary Logo sticker his / her vehicle. 4.Encourage every Rotarian to sponsor Rotary News as a gift to professional colleagues, community leaders, opinion makers, friends and relatives.

15 DISTRICT GOALS 2015-16 Public Image 5.Encourage clubs to organise a blog on social networking campaign. 6.Encourage clubs to have their major service projects get coverage in the Press and other Social Media. 7.Obtain a Public Relation Grant of USD 15000/- 8.Clubs to encourage Rotarians to write Rtn. before their name in all business and personal communications and add Rotary Logo and Club name in their email signatures.
