Tawaf-e-Zyarat May be done on 10th/11th/12th Zulhijja
Have to go and come back on foot from Mina to the Haram or may get bus/taxi Many pilgrims go to their buildings in Makkah/Azizia after the tawaf-e-zyarat and do not come to Mina for night stay. To control rush in the Haram, pilgrims are transported from Mina to Makka/Azizia in two phases: first on 12th evening and second on 13th afternoon. Bus drivers sometime play mischief and advice pilgrims to get down before reaching their buildings.
47
Departure phase This phase is characterised by heavy rush in hospitals/dispensaries, cash loss, departure ticket loss, requests for preponing of departure ticket, shopping, etc City check-in of baggage, weight and size-limit of baggage Every pilgrim is given only 3 baggage tags(two for luggage and one for cabin/hand bag) Be in your building/hotel when baggage is to be collected as per pre-notified schedule.
48
City check-in of baggage
Baggage is collected at least 24 hour before the time of departure of your flight. In Madinah, because of pilgrims’ being preoccupied with obligatory 40 time salath, baggage may be collected much in advance. Excess baggage may be booked though saudi Post/ Couriers, etc Zamzam is not allowed in baggage or hand bag.
