For this assignment, you will formulate your own project on the theme of Juxtaposition. You will need to research at least two renowned contemporary (published and of national or international merit ) photographers, and include detailed annotations that include an analysis of images used (not simply biographical information). The dictionary definition of Juxtapose is: To place side by side, especially for contrast or comparison.

Resources You will have access to both SLR and digital cameras, the darkrooms, computer software e.g. Adobe Photoshop and studio equipment such as lighting. You can work in either colour or black and white Outcome There are two main submissions for this assignment: Work Journal. Including: Detailed research, illustrations. Approximately 25 pages of work in total. Mounted sheets Four A2 mounted sheets Assessment This project will last three weeks and is due to be submitted on __/__/__ There will be a feedback session where you present your work to the group.
