5 Asking Fewer Questions n The typical teacher asks hundreds of questions a day.

6 Asking Better Questions n 70 to 95% of the questions that teacher ask are considered lower- order questions.

7 Questioning for Depth n Probing questions focus less on the subject and more on individual students. Examples: n What are your reasons for selecting that answer? n Could you give us an example of that?
