8 Exemption for Nonresident High School Students (AB 540) Qualifications: 1.Attended a California high school 3 years AND 2. Graduated from a California high school. Requirements: 1. Sign affidavit stating you will: Provide information on all high schools you attended AND Apply to legalize your immigration status as soon as possible. 2. Pay college fees.
