Introduction We all need seafarers. If we didn't have them, we wouldn't have all the things we have now.

This is a pair of bananas The bananas come from the Windward Islands so who transports them across the sea? Seafarers do! Who else? Who likes bananas?

This is a rubber duck Who likes to play with rubber ducks? The rubber duck comes from the Far East. How does it get to Britain? In a boat with seafarers!

On the table is a tea bag. It's a bit faint, though. Tea comes from India. So, who gets it over the ocean? Yes, you guessed it, Seafarers!

This is can of Fiery Ginger Beer Hot! The ginger is from Jamaica and of course, Seafarers take it to Britain. I say, I say, I say, My wife went to the West Indies Jamaica? No! She wanted to go!

What sort of sailor rules Egypt? A Seafare-o (Sea pharaoh, get it?)

Donations You don't just donate Money. You can also donate Pringles. Seafarers really like Pringles! PRINGOOALSPRINGOOALS £5 Ow! Other items include: Toys or Souvenirs for their children – they don't have time to go to Tescos(!); Clothes – as above. Being bombed with tins of Pringles would be a bit boring. Pringles

Port of Felixstowe I went to the Port of Felixstowe We met Sister Marion at the Seafarers Centre. The seafarers can relax there, play games, read books, watch videos or phone home.

Port Police We all had to get a pass from the port police

A Container Ship

Loading and Unloading Land tugs take the containers to and from the cranes. Computers control the cranes and tell the land tug drivers where to go.
