Example of the first tab
Top folded up S L Melting is a change of state from a solid to a liquid. When a substance melts, energy/heat must be added to the solid. This causes the particles to move faster and the bonds to break. Then the substance changes to a liquid. Bottom of first tab Examples: Ice cube melting, ice cream melting, melting gold Melting
