1 Letter from the Principal June 2010 Calendar of Events “Passport to the World” June Highlights Dear Summer Camp Families, Southern Highlands Preparatory School has just the place for your child’s summer fun! Join our fun-filled summer programs for children ages 2-5. Our travels begin in Australia and glide through ten countries where our campers will learn about the many different cultures of the world. Each week our campers will experience loads of fun and exciting activities like learning about koalas and kangaroos, exploring the life of a volcano, the origin of origami, and experience making ice cream. Did you know ice cream was invented in China! How about chewing gum! It was invented in Ohio in 1869! Our campers will then explore Africa, France and Italy, as they sight see Brazil, escape to México and lastly, move through Canada. Our dedicated staff are qualified, passionate and excited in teaching our children. Our campers experience at SHPS camp zone will provide your children with a lifetime of memories!
