3 New Hires Data Flow: –New hire keyed into PMIS (or entered manually by Non-PMIS agency) –PMIS Interfaces to CIPPS and VNAV that night (or entered manually by Non-PMIS agency) –VNAV sends a file to CIPPS monthly on the 2 nd business day of the month which will set up retirement (Non – ORP elections)

4 New Hires Pain Points: –Timeliness of entry of new hires into PMIS –Duplicate entry for Non-PMIS agencies –PMIS to VNAV interface issues –Timeliness of entry of new hires into VNAV if Non-PMIS agency –Wage to Salary employee

5 Time and Leave Interfaces Pain Points: –Overtime Eligibility Code/P-14 Authorizations –FLSA and overtime reporting in CIPPS –Some agencies have no Time and Leave system –Inability to track labor / grants management –Huge salary increases – rate not in transaction –Reporting for instances of docking when the employee has no leave to cover absence –LWOP more than 14 days and the Anniversary

6 Retirement Pain Points: –PMIS to VNAV interface issues –Pre-tax/post tax indicator issues PPS –Hybrid employees enrolled prematurely –ORP Election recording in VNAV –Less than 12 month employee reporting in VNAV (always Paid over contract in VNAV)
