Utilizing the school computers, network, e-mail and storage space is a privilege! Each year all users are expected to review the school network policies for acceptable use of e-mail and internet access.

Watch what you write! All e-mails sent through the school network are subject to monitoring. Do not open e-mails from senders you do not recognize. Never open or forward suspicious attachments!

School network uses: daily school activities, staff e-mail, research, and other learning activities. No online shopping during school hours. Please limit video streaming, it ties up the network.

Do not download or install any programs without permission! Always consult the ETs and network administrator about school and district policies regarding program installation and licensing. If you want your computer to run smoothly…

To keep your data safe from hard drive failure… store all files on the network drives! All staff members are encouraged to use the H drive for storing all personal files. All forms are stored on the L drive.

Remember to back up your files! Files should routinely be backed up on the H drive as well as on a thumb drive or CD-R. Remember to delete old files or files that are no longer needed. Please do not save more than 1GB of information on your network drive! And keep it clean!

All activity on the school network Blue Coat is filtering software which blocks or filters access to potentially inappropriate images or websites. Carbon Copy monitors which websites and links were visited by users. will be monitored!

Teachers are not permitted to host classroom websites outside of the school intranet! All class web pages must be accessible through the school website only. For the safety of our students…

Don’t forget to read your e-mail daily! Always look for the Daily Bulletin!
