11 Outcome from Training Key findings LTFT in later years and for defined periods of time Average length training 8ys 5months FT vs 10yrs 8 months for those LTFT Just as likely to be appointed to a consultant post as a FT trainee Very small numbers taking up PT consultant posts from both groups – influence of 10PA (7.5/2.5) contract at the time?
