PROBLEM Since change is inevitable and the fact that bad things will happen to man, cattle, land, etc.: How would you keep an individual, species, or system adaptive using the three factors of adaptability (variety, beginnings, & Boom-Bust)? OR How would you keep an individual, species, or system non-adaptive as in antibiotic resistant bacteria, pesticide resistant weeds and insects, or dependency of people to their government?

Summary Range management is the key to sustainable beef production. Variety is stability Boom-bust management produces the highest resiliency When starting a new management plan,give cattle time to adapt Pastures should be small enough that cattle cannot survive on regrowth
