Questions Object 1 is thrown at Object 2. Object 1 is much larger than Object 2. Only the actions of Object 1 can be observed. –What can be determined about object 2? –Will you be able to easily detect the size, shape, and position of object 2? –What if Object 1 is much smaller than object 2? –What if Object 1 and Object 2 are the same size? A light wave can not detect objects that are on the nanometer scale. What does this imply about the size of light waves? If we are detecting something that is the size of a nanometer (for example, an atom), what size object should be used for detecting?
