2.  I 2 C means inter-integrated circuit bus; it’s a way to communicate between components on the same board  Slower than SPI (3-line serial that Keith’s slideshow had mentioned before), but good for small distances (limited to approx. 10 ft)  Only 2 lines- one is the clock, and one sends data both ways  More robust clock than SPI

3.  3 possible speeds: 100Kb/s, 400Kb/s, 3.4Mb/s  Master=transmitter (computer), Slave=microcontroller (use one with many inputs!)  Flow control system  Supporting software is more complex than that of SPI
