2. Main Features Low Cost  Only few simple and easy assembled components are needed  Estimated cost of both the storage and holding devices is $50 only. Space Saving & Light Weight  Storage Unit Dimensions and Weight:  12.75”X8.125”X2.25” & ≈ 7.35 lb  On-Tray Docking Unit Dimensions and Weight:  5”X2”X0.5” & ≈ 0.42 lb Strong & Safe  Material Used: AISI 1050 CD Steel  High Factor of Safety: n d > 10 on every single component

3. Simplicity For our design simplicity was the key. First done by having only three main components. – Storage unit allowing us to hide the computer when not in use – Docking unit allowing us to securely hold the computer to the desk – Back plate which is connected directly to the computer and is what connects to the docking unit. There is no complex or constrictive movements when moving the computer from storage to the docking unit on the desk. – This is because all movements are done by the human arm. – The computer is path independent when traveling form storage to the desk.
