Using ICT as a Direct Learning Tool Use best features in software to achieve desired results Use a video projector or large monitor, Whiteboard Tasks can be made more exiting to engage and stimulate pupils interest Relieves the need to use poor and ill-matched boring copy-typing type tasks

Assessing Use assessment scheme which recognises pupil progress across all aspects of ICT Use test results to identify strengths and weaknesses in pupils learning Review effectiveness of the school’s procedures for involving pupils in self-assessing

Enhancing skills Run open access ICT Workshops out of lessons /Or lunch period drop in sessions Identify pupils with LOWER attainment in ICT Identify pupils with HIGHER attainment in ICT Use proficient pupils to assist least proficient
