Chemical Inventory USC EHS Assistant

Click on PI Name EHSA Login: Login using USC username password If you have access to PI and are on his/her you will be presented following option Click on “To Enter EH&S Assistant” button and will see PI you are attached to. NOTE: PI - If you don’t have an access please fill out LRS form Lab worker – If you don’t have access please click on Access Registration form

Chemical Module - EHSA Different options are available depending on the level of access. Inventory and waste pick up will be available to everyone on Chemical Permit

All chemicals in your inventory will be shown by default Verify your inventory by – Location – Name

Chemical Inventory by Location Choose “Show Chemicals by Location” Choose the lab and click “Show”

PRINT To print the chemical inventory click “Reports” and choose different options

Add new chemical Click Add Chemical

Adding chemical to inventory Option 3*: Select the Chemical by clicking the button Option 1*: Type CAS # Option 2*: Type Chemical Description Step 1: Identify the Chemical *Instructions of each option is on following slides

Adding Chemical to Inventory Option 1: Type CAS# and system will auto-populate a list to select from. Option 2: Type Chemical name and system will auto-populate a list to select from. Option 3: Gives several options to find a chemical. Click “Show” and system will auto-populate a list to select from.

Adding chemical to inventory Step 2: Select lab- Only labs on Chem permit will be shown Required fields SAVE

Deleting a Chemical from Inventory Click “Remove” System will ask you for confirmation before removal of chemical

Inventory Verification Yearly Chemical Inventory review – Mandatory Sign and Date
