8 AP and the Cost of College
Research shows taking AP can be useful in reducing the cost of college. AP Courses and exams help students complete their bachelor’s degree on time. AP has also emerged as an important factor in college scholarship decisions. To see the numbers and learn more, visit: Most students a public colleges and universities take 5 or 6 years, and even longer to ear their bachelor’s degrees. Students who take AP courses and exams are much more likely to graduate in four years, allowing them and their families to reduce the likelihood of paying for tuition for a fifth or sixth year. Taking AP increases eligibility for scholarships and makes candidates more attractive to colleges. Alonzo and Tracy Mourning S.H. Student Services
