2 Introduction The ability to control the dynamics of liquid droplets has become crucial in many bioMEMS applications such as lab-on-a-chip and micro-total analysis systems. Droplets can be moved through an imbalance of surface tension forces,electrowetting or dielectrophoresis.

13 Conclusion A maximum droplet moving speed of 100mm/s was achieved with a vibration frequency and amplitude of 50Hz and 3.5mm. Although in the same fluidic channel, droplets with different volume may move in different velocity. (friction)
