Ethics Kant: What are some of the implications of being a rational philosophy? What does he mean by a sense of duty? Morality bounded and valid for all rational minds. Morality stands on it’s own feet, not grounded in anything.

Ethics (cont. 2) Is this then a Godless doctrine? Are motives irrelevant? Can we really predict the outcomes of our actions? Is this calculus practical? Mills – elected officials and women’s rights. Appeals to our conscience. What is pleasure/happiness?
