What is E.P.D.M? Fast growing synthetic rubber having both specialty and general-purpose applications. Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Also called E.P.T or E.P.R Particularly useful when sealing hydraulic fluids on valves & Floating Flanges They are usually black in color and come as ‘RINGS’ Universal & Economical Product Retrieved from: oringsdubai.files.wordpress.com

General Characteristics Temperatures Ranges from 13°F(-25°C) to 250°F(120°C) Excellent Abrasion Resistance Good Resistance to Tearing Generally resistant to: Alcohols, Acidic salts, Alkaline salts, Alkaline solutions, Beverages, Bleach, Inorganic acids (dilute), Neutral salts, Water (cooling, brackish, salt), Hot Water, Steam. Generally not resistant to: Chlorinated hydrocarbons, hydrocarbon solvents & oils, petroleum-based oils, turpentine.
