2 Find the mean of 7, 4, 5, 3. 7 4 6 3 20 5 5 5 5 Step 1: Add the numbers in the data set. Step 2: Divide the sum by the “number of numbers” in the data set. There are 4 numbers (7, 4, 6, & 3). Divide by 4. mean = 5 Step 3: Count how many numbers there are in the data set.
