Protagonist A protagonist is someone who does something for someone who is possibly the leading character. This is not always the case. There can be more than one protagonist within the same story. An example that is in our book Stuart Little is when snowbell tries to eat Margalo and Stuart stops Snowbell from doing so.

Antagonist An antagonist is the person in the story that is opposite of what we learned about the protagonist. Antagonists are the villains of the story who provide obstacles that the protagonist have to go through.

Exposition Exposition is about an introduction of the events, setting, characters. Without this part of the story or any story it would not make any sense. It is the crucial part that deals with all these parts of the story. We see this in any story because we need information regarding these items because we can as readers understand what is taking place or about to take place. An example is how Snowbell does not get along with Stuart Little because he is a mouse and it is the cats nature to eat them.

Rising Action In the rising action this is where the protagonist is going through obstacles. In these obstacles he is frustrated trying to reach his goal. This is the basic internal conflict that we see in the stories. Example of this is when we see how the protagonist is using a bow and arrow to help save the bird Margalo.

Climax The climax where things either take a turn for the worse or the better of the story. We see a change take place. The most dramatic part of the story is taking place her. Our example is when we see how Snowbell is plotting with the Persian to help Angora eat Margalo who finds out and runs North away from them.

Falling Action In the falling action we will start to see the result of the Climax that just happened. This is where we have finished with the dramatic parts of the book. We see this taking place in Stuart Little when he leaves home to go find Margalo. She did this to get away from Snowbell and Angora from eating her.

Resolution In the resolution the story starts to wrap up everything that is going on in the story. The main characters go to the parts of the story where it will finally end. Stuart is heading North in the direction she went. He leaves to go find Margalo. Or when he is talking to his parents who are his biological.
