4 The pictures all begin with the sound:- l Words:- ladder, leaf, lion, letter, lightning, lips (lipstick), lollipop (lick), lock, llama, lizard 2

5 Beginning /middle/ end? 3 Drag a circle to show whether b sound is at the beginning, middle or end of the word.

18 Learning Points When to use c,k,ck Until we learn more about vowels:-   Use “c” at the beginning of words when the next sound is “a”,or a consonant. cat, can, cap, crest.   Use “k” at the beginning of words when the next sound is “e” or “i” Ken, kit, kip.   Use ck at the end of words 15
