Saturday June 6 th will be the 2 nd Annual JRSADD 5K Race and 1- Mile Fun Run. Walkers are more than welcome. Proceeds raised will benefit Kids Escaping Drugs Campaign and WNY teens struggling with drug and alcohol addictions. So come on LMS, sign up even if you and your friends simply want to walk around the park to support a good cause. 5K forms are in the main office or outside Mrs. Skowron's classroom, room 305.

It’s that time again!! Bald for Bucks is here! Start growing your hair out now and start collecting money for Roswell Park. Bald for Bucks is Wednesday, May 20th. Get permission slips and info from your homeroom teachers. Permission slips should be handed to room 109. Let’s beat our last year’s total!! Let’s go LMS!

Please be sure to adhere to the district’s dress code policy. Examples of inappropriate clothing include but are not limited to short shorts, midriff tops, tank tops, spaghetti strap tops and flip flops. See Page 15 of your agenda!

The 2015 Registration for the Lancaster and Depew youth boys football and girls cheerleading will be from April 5th to June 13 th. Please stop by to the main office to pick up an information sheet if you are interested.

Collection boxes will be in Ms. Blatner's room 109 and the Media Center from April 13th-30th. Please help us in our cause! During the month of April, LMS students are working to help the patients of Children's Hospital. BAND-AIDS FOR CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL We will be collecting PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Wii Games and old DVD movies. Also, we will be collecting character Band-Aids for Children's Hospital. So let's help the patients of Children's Hospital, bringing smiles to their faces.

Listen up LMS! Our last dance of the year will be next Friday, May 8th from 7:30 to 9:30. It will be held in the courtyard weather permitting. Buy your tickets in the café next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Make sure you have your ID card along with $5. Hope to see you there!

This week all students will be voting for our new mascot. All of the artwork will be posted in our café and students will get to vote on your assigned day. Last names starting A-G will vote on Tuesday, H-O will vote on Wednesday, and P- Z will vote on Thursday. If you are absent on your assigned day, you can vote on the others. You will be part of our history here at Lancaster and helping to leave a legacy. Please be respectful of everyone's hard work. Many people have put countless hours into helping to create our new mascot.
