11. Semen Availability
May semen order has 55 “share” Holsteins – only 16 are proven sires Keeping up the demand for genomic young sires has become very challenging – all “share” super samplers are on 3x collection if possible Making both conventional and sexed semen from super samplers complicates the situation because young bulls make fewer sperm cells Necessary to spread SMS matings over more bulls

12. Semen Availability
7H8081 Planet – semen production is slowing down a bit with age – will no longer be sexed 7H12390 Gun – off collection due to penile tear/no semen available until the July semen order 7J1163 Irwin – made only 350 straws in April and zero in February and March – best to promote his sons (Shaggy-P, Citation, Alfonso and Texas) rather than daddy!

13. Dairy Product Specialist
Adam Oswalt will be transitioning from the sire team to sales and marketing starting next week His responsibilities will be varied ( I need help!) and will include leadership in product line promotion working with communications team along with assisting in product management and SMS training. Adam will continue his sire analyst role in the Ayrshire breed
