2 Today’s lesson... What: Scientific Notation Why: To convert between numbers written in scientific notation and numbers written in standard form.

That’s the # of zeros we need!! = 6,320,000,000 = 340,000 = 60,000 = 20,800,000 We need 7 zeros! We need 4 zeros! We need 5 zeros! The exponent does NOT mean # of zeros!!!
