Refers to location; where people/things are at. 3. Used to tell time. Ejemplos: Teresa es bonita y alta. = Ejemplos: Teresa esta bonita y alta = Teresa is pretty and tall (traits) Teresa is pretty and tall (she’s dressed up today and is wearing high heel shoes) José es de México =José is from México. Son las diez (Es la una) =It is ten o’clock (It is one o’clock) José está en México. = José is in México. (at; location)
