Pronouns We use subject pronouns to replace people’s names- like ella instead of “Jennifer” Today, you’re going to learn pronouns that you can use to replace things instead of people. These are called demonstrative pronouns instead of subject pronouns

El euro The euro is the official currency of 19 countries in the European Union- including Spain Right now € 1 = $1.10 The U.S. dollar is the official currency of the U.S., its territories, and Ecuador- fewer countries than the euro!

En Espana In Spain, big stores are very uncommon. It’s uncommon to come across a supermarket like we have in America- usually you have to go to a few little markets to get different groceries like produce, meat, bread, etc. There aren’t big clothing stores like Walmart, Target, Macy’s- except for one called Corte Ingles

For each slide, write down at least three things you notice about their clothing/accessories. REMEMBER TO BE RESPECTFUL. You’re not going to like everything, and some things will be very different! You won’t get any credit for offensive comments.
