In French, color words go AFTER the noun. Some color words change SPELLING to agree with a FEMININE NOUN or a PLURAL NOUN. The general rule is to add an E to the end of the word to make it feminine, and a S to make it plural. M. S.M. Pl.F. S.F. Pl. Bleu Vert
6
Les Règles - When the color word ends in an E you DO NOT add an extra E but you DO add S if it’s plural. Exemple: rose, rouge, jaune When the color is named after a NOUN, the spelling DOES NOT change. Exemple: orange, marron (chesnut) Exceptions: violet violette blanc blanche
