About Mark Sanchez Mark Sanchez was born in Long Beach California on November 11, 1986 He grew up in a well-disciplined and athletic family. He is a 2nd generation Latino in United States. Also, he is a very good quarterback in the NFL and plays for the Jets. His father Nick worked with him on developing his skills as a player. Football Career In eighth grade he started playing football and learning how to play the position of quarterback He played 4 years at USC starting only his last year. Mark was drafted in the first round of the NFL 2009 draft as the fifth overall pick by the Jets and the second quarterback picked in 2009 draft. Sanchez still plays for the Jets for the past seasons when he was drafted to today.
