2. ~BIOGRAPHY —Selena Quintanilla nació en Lake House, Texas. She began singing around the age of ten in her family’s band. Selena had the first Tejano record to sell more than 500,000 copies. In 1992, while she was on a break from her music she married Chris Perez, who she met in her family’s band. Selena also won a Grammy award for having the Best Mexican- American Album in 1993. Unfortunately Selena did not get to see her English album’s success because Yolanda Saldivar, the founder of her fan cub, murdered her. 3. ~Accomplishment 1 Selena logra mucho en su vida. She became very popular among the Tejano music fans at a young age. Her father taught her to speak fluent Spanish when she was little. Selena sold over 60 million albums worldwide. Selena es muy popular. If she wasn’t murdered, she could have accomplished so much more.
