The suffix “-ísimo” Add the suffix “-ísimo” (- a,os,as) to the end of ADJECTIVES say that someone or something is “very” or “extremely.” It adds emphasis to the adjective already used.

The suffix “-ísimo” ¡La chica es bonitísima! The girl is sooo pretty! ¡La casa es grandísma! ¡That house is huge!! (really big etc.)

Las reglas 1. If the adjective ends in a vowel : drop the vowel before adding the ending: grande + ísimo grandísimo

Make sure the ending of ísimo agrees with the noun it is describing. ísimo/a/os/as Las montañas son altísimas.

The suffix “-ito” Add the suffix “-ito” (- ita,itos,itas) to the end of NOUNS to mean “small” or little.” It can also be used to show affection.

Articles with Food A lot of time you will leave the article off when “some” is implied. Pongo sal encima de mis papas fritas. (salt, some salt) Pongo azúcar en mi café. (sugar, some sugar)
