Once upon a time, there was a knight called Carlos, who lived in a big, castle.. One day, he set out on his horse and rode off into the woods. There were lots of trees and it was very dark. Carlos used his long sword to chop the low branches out of his way. Suddenly, he heard a loud roar behind him. He took off his helmet so that he could see better. In the dark he could just make out the enormous head of a big, angry, green monster... CABALLERO CASTILLOCABALLO EL BOSQUE ESPADA CASCO MONSTRUO DIA RUGIDO Copyright Belinda King

Carlos waved his flag to try to scare the dragon. But the beast was still angry. It opened it’s mouth wide and flashed it’s long, sharp teeth. But all of a sudden there was a puff of smoke and the dragon disappeared. Carlos was very surprised. He got back on his horse and rode deeper into the woods. At the end of a long, winding path he spotted a big, dark cave. “I wonder what’s in there”, he said. Carlos peered into the deep, dark cave. He left his horse tied up outside. Carlos took out his sword so that he was ready for any trouble. It was cold and damp inside and large drops of water splashed on his helmet. Carlos thought he saw something move at the back of the cave. He saw a small, white bundle wriggling in the darkness. It wasn’t something it was someone. They were tied up in the corner. “ Help me! ” she cried. When he got closer, he saw she was a beautiful princess.
