20 Now let’s try some sentences.  1. I swim.  to swim = nadar  2. She paints the house (la casa = the house).  to paint = pintar  3. You and I dance.  to dance = bailar

21 I swim.  I = yo to swim = nadar  Step 1: remove the ar nad  Step 2: add the “o” for the “yo” form. Nado  Answer: Yo nado.

22 She paints the house.  She = Ella to paint = pintar  Step 1: remove the ar pint  Step 2: add the “a” for the “ella” form. pinta  Answer: Ella pinta la casa.

23 You and I dance.  You and I = we We = nosotros  To dance = bailar  Step 1: remove the ar bail  Step 2: add the “amos” for the “nosotros” form. bailamos  Answer: Nosotros bailamos.  Or it could be written:  Tú y yo bailamos
