Adjective Placement In English placed before the noun ex: the red house the big book the long marker In Spanish placed after the noun ex:la casa roja el libro grande el marcador largo

Adjective Agreement Nouns in Spanish are: singular, plural, masculine, or feminine el chicolos chicos la chicalas chicas Adjectives in Spanish always agree with the noun in gender and number, this means: singular, plural, masculine, or feminine perezosoperezosos perezosaperezosas

Adjective Agreement (cont…) Adjectives ending in an “o” will have all 4 forms of the adjective: o, a, os, as Adjectives ending in an “e” describe both masculine and feminine adjectives therefore does not change. chico amablechicos amables chica amable chicas amables Adjectives have the same rule as nouns to make them plural, if it ends in a vowel add a “s,” and if it ends in a consonant add an “es.”
