You don’t just have to use “Estar” to express how you are feeling. You also can use sentirse, which means “to feel”. Me siento enfermo. I feel sick.
3
But…sentirse is a little different from verbs we have conjugated before. First of all we conjugate it as a (e-ie) stem- changing verb.
4
Yo Siento Tu Sientes El/Ella/Usted Siente Nosotros Sentimos Vosotros Sentís Ellos/Ellas Usteded Sienten SientoSentimos SientesSentís SienteSienten
5
But…sentirse is also what we call a “reflexive verb”. “Reflexive verbs” are verbs in which the subject and the object are the same. So we need a new set of pronouns.
6
MeNos TeOs Se Notice these are not the same as our “Doler” and “Gustar” Pronouns.
7
To make the verb reflexive, you just conjugate the verb normally and place that reflexive pronoun in front of the verb. Como se dice… You feel…. Te sientes
8
Here is the entire verb conjugated. Me Siento I feel Nos Sentimos We feel Te Sientes You feel Os Sentís You all feel (Spain) Se Siente He/She feels Se Sienten They feel
9
Use both “Estar” and “Sentirse” to tell me how this person feels.
