2.  Irregular verbs do not follow the patterns of regular verbs at least all of the time.

4. “estar” = to be (emotions, conditions & location) estoy estás está estamos están

5. “dar” = to give doy das da damos dan

6. *“ir” = to go *the most irregular verb of all voy vas va vamos van

7. Use a form of the verb “ir” + a + an infinitive verb to talk about the future. English  I am going to study.  You are going to buy a DVD.  Ya’ll are going to take a test on Tuesday. español  Yo voy a estudiar.  Tú vas a comprar un DVD.  Uds. van a tomar un examen el martes.
