The indefinite articles agree with the noun they are describing in gender and in number. Masculine Feminine Singular un a/an una Plural unos some unas

3 Indefinite Articles The indefinite articles un and una are used to say a or an before a singular noun. un libro a book una mochila a backpack The indefinite articles unos and unas are used to say some before a plural noun. unos libros some books unas mochilas some backpacks The indefinite articles can sometimes be left out, especially when the noun is plural. ¿ Tienes (unos) lapices? Do you have (some) pencils?
