2. For our “Español En El Mundo Real” we chose to eat at the authentic mexican restaurant, Rojo.

3. To start off our meal, we ate salsa and chips, which is made from scratch each day at the Rojo restaurant. The salsa was a blend of several different mexican spices. The origin of salsa dates back to the time of the Aztec, Mayan and Inca civilization.

4. “Enchiladas Verdes” el plato incluía pollo, frijoles refritos y arroz. Translation: The dish included chicken, re fried beans, and rice. Enchiladas originated in Mexico, where the practice of rolling tortillas around other food dates back at least to Mayan times.

5. “Two Story Taco” carne molida de res, lechuga, tomates y frijoles fritos Translation: Ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and re fried beans. Tacos originated from Bajo California, Mexico

6. “Cheese Quesadilla and Salsa” Quesadillas originated in the central part of Mexico. Cheese quesadillas consist of melted cheese rolled in corn tortilla.

8. 3 Sentences 1.) me gustó la salsa porque era picante. I liked the salsa because it was spicy. 2.) no me gustó la quesadilla por el queso I did not like the quesadilla because of the cheese. 3.) me gustó la enchilada debido a la salsa caliente I liked the enchilada because of the hot sauce.
